The "To This Day" video by Shane Koyczan is absolutely beautiful. From his spoken word poetry to the many artists featured; this video keeps inspiring me.
As a class we are undertaking an ambitious end of the year project. Each student contributed and stanza on the power and effect bullying has, and a second stanza on overcoming bullying. Let me explain that bullying takes many forms and hurts everyone it touches. The students are combining all the stanzas to create a massive class poem and creating artwork to feature in the video. The project is just beginning, but I am incredibly proud of the students compassion and initiative. Every single student is working with a technological medium they have not used; from claymation, stop-motion pictures, puppet show videos, digital comics, etc. The kids are out of their comfort zone and loving it!
